The research and development giant started its Entrepreneurship Sabbatical Policy in July to allow employees a chance to develop their start-up ideas for two years. The policy is part of a wider effort to retain talented employees. "Using our sabbatical policy, if they succeed, we hope they will be ambassadors of SAP,” Vlasta Dusil, HR head for SAP group in India, says. “If not, we will welcome them back so that they can share their learning with us."
