CEO With Speech Impediment Taps AI to Reduce Bias in Recruiting Process

Inspired by his own experiences with a speech impediment, Jahanzaib Ansari created a way to shield employers from identifying factors that could unfairly disadvantage some recruits. So reports Employee Benefit News.

artificial intelligence 4389372 1280Ansari is CEO of Knockri, a video recruiting platform that taps artificial intelligence to do employee assessments and interviews. Once complete, employers receive a transcript of how well the recruit did without identifying the person’s gender, race, age or any disability.

“Our whole goal here is to share that bias exists in the hiring process and deliver a solution that will move the needle,” Ansari says. “It’s solely founded on a lot of the biases I personally faced.”

“We’re giving a score to the employer based on the interview transcript and objectively analyzing the interview using AI technology and industrial and organizational psychology,” he adds.
