Of that 70%, 41% say they typically don business casual clothing, while 31% opt for casual street clothes. That compares with 23% who put on a uniform for work most days and just 3% who embrace business professional clothes, including suits.
The poll, conducted from Aug. 1 to Aug. 23, is the fifth such survey Gallup has conducted of U.S. employees who are not self-employed. The 3% who wear business professional clothes is the lowest of all its previous polls.
