Indeed Gives $10K for Transgender Relocation/Care

Indeed is supporting its transgender employees so that they can receive services should they live in a state where gender-affirming care is criminalized. So reports Axios.

IndeedThe online job search firm’s $10,000 benefit is for U.S. employees and their immediate family members and is also available in locations that deny support for children who are non-conforming, transgender or non-binary.

“Our transgender, non-binary and gender non-conforming colleagues are integral to our business and culture at Indeed,” said Misty Gaither, vice president of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging at Indeed. “We know employees thrive and do their best work when they can bring their authentic selves to work.”

Gaither added that “we also believe that everyone has the right to make the healthcare decisions that they feel are right for themselves and their families.”
