Dreyon Wynn filed his suit for racial discrimination in June and has received the support of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Wynn is seeking more than $75,000.
"If you don't believe racism is alive and well, I'm telling you that it is," said Wynn’s attorney, Victor Mastromarco Jr. "It's unbelievable.”
Michelle Eisele, EEO Detroit district director, wrote in a report, that “specifically, the evidence indicates that (Wynn) was the most qualified [candidate] for the Director of Human Resources position.”
