T-Mobile Sets April 2 Deadline for Corp Staff to Be Vaxxed or Fired  

T-Mobile US is warning its U.S. corporate workers that failure to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by April 2 will result in termination. So reports Bloomberg.

tmobileA company memo from the firm’s top human resources officer to its U.S. staff, obtained by Bloomberg, also notes that employees who have not received their initial dose of the vaccine by February 21 will be put on unpaid leave. The policy pertains to all corporate U.S. staff who need “regular or occasional” entry to the company's offices. This would apply to nearly all employees, according to T-Mobile.

“While we hope every affected employee will be vaccinated and return to their workplace, we understand that for some, this means you must make a deeply personal decision,” said Deeanne King, T-Mobile’s chief human resources officer. “Uniting around this plan helps us all move forward with greater clarity and safety for our community.”
