Latest EEOC Guides: Make Sure You Are Up to Speed

The hot topics currently emanating from the EEOC are religious discrimination and employment background checks. So reports HR Morning.

This comes as no surprise, with the number of religious bias claims against employers having doubled since the late 1990s, and the agency’s 2012 guidelines regarding criminal background checks having resulted in a flurry of lawsuits against it nationwide.

Just the same, the EEOC is intent on standing its ground, and HR departments would do well to stay on the same page.
