Apple Security Breach Shakes iCloud Users to the Core

Should recent online leaks of nude celebrity photos give personal and corporate users of the ubiquitous iPhone and iPad devices pause? Maybe so, especially with Apple's release of its latest bell-and-whistle-equipped version of the iPhone. So Reuters reports.

Hack jobs and phishing of e-mail accounts have become almost a rite of passage. And not to blame the victim, but it seems prudent to avoid saving nude or compromising pictures to the cloud.

At the same time, Apple has long been known for its tight Internet security. While Apple claims its systems were not the cause of the data breach, the concern for all of us is the growing preference for storing photos, banking, healthcare,and all matter of sensitive personal data on hand-held devices linked to virtual storage systems, like – well, the cloud.
