Citigroup’s First Woman CEO Always a Working Mom

When Citigroup selected Jane Fraser to be its CEO this month, making her the first woman to head a major Wall Street bank, it also elevated a proud working mother. So reports Reuters.

CitiFraser started her career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs when she was 20, rising to consumer banking head of Citigroup before landing the CEO role. Fraser, 53, embraces her role as a mother, while continuing to advance her career in finance, joking in the past with colleagues that she has “three boys at home... I have a 14-year-old, a 16-year-old and a 59-year-old.”

“It’s a fairly normal home life for me but I’m often asked, ‘Can you have it all? Can you do it all? And I say, ‘Yes, you can, but you can’t do it all at once and don’t expect everything at once,” Fraser said, according to the article.
