New Mexico Healthcare Giant Adjusts to 100% Virtual

One of New Mexico’s largest employers has gone from offering about 20% of its healthcare program virtually to 100% as it adjusts to operating in the COVID-19 reality. So reports The Albuquerque Journal.

new mexico 2290033 640 1“It’s been quite a whirlwind with changing corporate wellness to a virtual study,” said Sarita Loehr, director of health and wellness for Presbyterian Heath Care Services. “Everybody has had to ramp up.”

Presbyterian has about 14,000 employees and serves the healthcare needs of tens of thousands in the state. “We had to convert everything to a virtual offering,” Loehr said. “We had to pivot quickly. Many things we had to create from scratch. We had to be adaptable and creative in everything we did, in a meaningful and purposeful way.”
