Battle-tested HR Leaders Ready to Help Companies Post-Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic tested human resources leaders in ways they could never imagine or prepare for last year and that experience positions them well to deal with workforce challenges this year. So reports World Economic Forum.

Sethi cites a PwC Pulse Survey from November in which 89% of chief human resource officers said they wanted to make elected officials aware of how President Joe Biden’s tax proposal would impact their businesses. In contrast, 78% of survey respondents representing all business leaders expressed the same interest.

“They’ve led on complex issues like employee safety and mental health, productivity and morale,” Sethi says. “They were pivotal in the transition to remote work, and they’ve helped their organizations’ leaders navigate hard choices about furloughs and severance.”
