Verizon sought to help its workers through these personal challenges by reimbursing them for backup daycare and caregiver leave.
Wellbeing also became a top concern with employees during the lockdown. To address this, Microsoft Japan made an organizational change by cutting down its workweek from five days to four days and limiting meetings to 30 minutes and five people.
