Blind is an anonymous professional online network that boasts having more than five million verified workers. HR leaders are concerned that potential talent is getting a bias impression of workplaces, further complicating their already tough recruiting efforts amid record numbers of people ditching their jobs and the trend of rising annual compensation.
What makes Blind different from other networking sites, such as Indeed and Glassdoor, is that the reviews left on Blind are more conversational, says Paul Wolfe, former chief human resources officer at Indeed. And this can lead to more “bashing of companies” on the Blind site, he adds. “It tends to, in my opinion, skew a bit more negative,” Wolfe says.
