Federal Judge Sides with Supermarket Chain's HR Manager on Bias Case

A federal judge last month sided with Kroger ruling that a former employee can’t ask its human resources manager, who looked into his alleged disability bias claim, for some details pertaining to the underlying investigation. So reports Bloomberg Law.

KrogerThe Houston judge from the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas noted the supermarket chain was right when it cited that evidentiary privileges prevented the employee from obtaining the information. The HR manager was investigating the employee’s disability bias claim that the employee filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
