Recession Fears Fuel Job Loss Worries for Many Workers  

The prospect of layoffs and a recession have created a huge surge among workers concerned that they may lose their jobs. So report Human Resource Executive.

HR leaders have a crucial role in ensuring they are communicating and being transparent about the economy and potential for layoffs, say Lemon .io CEO Aleksandr Volodarsky.

“Communicating effectively with employees is always important, regardless of circumstances, but especially so amid uncertainty over the future,” Volodarsky says. “Being transparent about the challenges the company is facing and how it intends to overcome them will reduce fears of redundancy and ensure workers are in the right headspace to weather the storm.”
