Woman's TikTok Post Calling Out 'Locker Room Talk' Goes Viral

A corporate saleswoman quickly generated millions of views on her TikTok account after she posted a call where she chastises male vendors for their “locker room talk.” So reports Boston. com.

TikTokWhitney Sharpe, who was crowned Miss Massachusetts 2016, recorded and shared a video of a business meeting with the vendors after the group’s chat was accidentally shared with her during the call last month. Sharpe chided the vendors during the meeting for how they talked about her in the chat and, as of January 29, her video had amassed 12 million views. “When a vendor accidentally shares his group Teams chat and it’s all nasty things about me. It’s 2023 can this stop,” Sharpe’s text across her video read.

The video shows Sharpe addressing the vendors during the meeting after she saw their chat about her. “First of all, if we’re going to continue working together, I want to work with a woman sales representative, because I don’t wanna have to see locker room talk about myself when we’re sharing screens,” she told the vendors.

Sharpe told NBC10 Boston that, in hindsight, she should have chosen something other than “locker room talk” to address the vendors. “I think locker room talk is putting a pretty bow on something that is not pretty,” she said. “I should’ve called it for what it was. I should’ve said, ‘I do not stand for sexual harassment.’”
