Allstate Devotes $10M To Employee Recognition, Connection Initiatives  

Insurance giant Allstate has allocated $10 million for its managers and human resources leaders to use towards recognizing their employees and fostering connections across its 57,000-strong global workforce. So reports Employee Benefit News.

AllstateThe funds can be tapped for a range of activities including for live or virtual social events and meetups, travel budgets or other initiatives aimed at bringing employees together wherever they may be working.

“We've always invested in our people, and typically, it's worked well for us to say, you have this much money, you can decide how you want to use that,” Allstate’s HR workplace futurist Lauren DeYoung says. “This time, we actually went directly to our mid- and senior-level leaders and said, ‘help us figure out how to best drive engagement, connection and business results across your team.’ It's empowered them to help us figure that out.”
