Walmart Drops College Degree Requirement for Corporate Gigs

Walmart will no longer require recruits seeking to work out of its corporate offices to have a college degree for many of its jobs. So reports Forbes.

WalmartThe retail behemoth announced late last month that it has revamped hundreds of job listings pertaining to corporate job titles that will enable candidates with either a college degree or those without a degree who can demonstrate they have proper experience to get hired.

Walmart is not the first to do so as other companies, including IBM, Accenture and Google, have cut down on the number of positions that previously required degrees.
