Most Workers Dread Full-Time Return to Office: Harvard Business Survey

While many COVID-19 fatigued employees welcome a return to pre-pandemic times, 27% don’t want to return to the office. Meanwhile, 61% hope to work at least two to three days from home per week, according to a recent survey. So reports Harvard Business School Online.

Fintech StartupIn the survey of 1,500 professionals who worked remotely at least part of the time from March 2020 to March 2021, 18% said they do want to go back to the office full-time. More parents with children at home said they wanted to work full-time at the office versus childless employees who enjoyed working remotely. Married workers also want to be in office full-time versus singles.

The vast majority of those polled (98%) were able to hold onto their jobs while working remotely, while one-third believed they saw an improvement in their overall performance and work quality compared to 2019. A third also said they were more focused working from home.
