The eight-module Workplace Mental Health Certificate program aims to foster a workplace environment where mental health is not stigmatized, create a workplace culture that openly encourages open discussion on the issue and arms employers with better ways to address wellness. SHRM partnered with Psych Hub, a multimedia platform focused on mental health education, to design the program.
“Mental health and wellness in the workplace is one of the critical issues of our time, and has only been compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic, the visibility of equity and social justice issues, and the overall economic instability across the globe,” said Wendi Safstrom, SHRM Foundation executive director.
