Her goal is to show that not all HR professionals are stiffs and proudly touts a meme page that showcases the “weird stigma” about her colleagues, and spotlights “who our freaks are.”

“It’s funny because everyone is supposed to be this professional, put-together person at work, and most people are not, including myself,” Jackson said.

Daniel Space, also known as dan_from_hr, saw videos that pitched viewers “bad advice,” and has since used TikTok to counter the advice in those videos. “I typed in ‘career advice’ and I just saw so much bad advice, video after video after video of someone with two to three years of experience with 25,000 followers, saying ‘this is the number one secret job search hack that they don't want you to know.’ And I'm like, oh my god, what are you doing?,” Space says.
