Taking A Radical Approach to Workplace Flexibility

A flexible workplace should be more than when and where employees work and should also focus on with whom, on what and how much they engage. So reports Gartner.

arrows 311332 640 small“When HR leaders reframe flexibility around a whole person’s identity and life experience, they make employees feel understood, autonomous, valued, cared for and invested in their organizations,” the business consulting firm notes. “When you generate these emotions in employees, both the organization and the human beings that comprise them, win.”

Executing “radical flexibility “ the right way will translate to the percentage of employees becoming top performers going up by 40%, Gartner notes. “Performance improves in part because radical flexibility provides employees with a much-needed sense of autonomy, and in part because it dramatically reduces the risk of burnout,” the firm finds.
