Most Workers OK With Jobs, But Many Are Stressed Out: Poll

A recent The Washington Post-Ipsos poll finds that while the majority of workers are satisfied with their current jobs, many say they are paying a steep price. So reports The Washington Post.

percent 997401 640 smallAbout 80% of workers say they are satisfied with their current employment situation, but more than 60% report that their jobs stress them out. Some workers prioritize the ability to work from home coming off the pandemic, but traditional measures of job satisfaction, including pay and having a good manager, are even more important.

The poll included 1,148 workers ages 18 to 64 and was conducted from March 30-April 11. It reveals that 45% of workers rate pay as the top priority followed by 14% who say having a good manager is most important.
