The acquisition by software firm Perceptyx comes as the HR tech space sees increasing consolidation. Neither Humu nor Perceptyx provided details of the deal. “When Perceptyx approached us, we realized that by teaming up we could reach more people and organizations much more quickly,” Bock said, calling the acquisition an opportunity to “change how work feels for millions of people.”
Humu’s technology will address a demand by customers, Perceptyx CEO John Borland said. “The expectation for organizations to leverage their people data in more meaningful ways has been rising,” he said. “The need to be able to close the gap between signal and action is more important than ever.”
