Employees Want Bosses to Focus on Their Personal Financial Well-Being  

The vast majority of employees want their companies to make financial benefits a top priority after seeing their savings rattled from the pandemic, according to a Morgan Stanley survey. So reports Employee Benefit News.

Morgan StanleyThe Morgan Stanley report notes that 90% of workers want their companies to make financial benefits a top concern, while 95% of human resources leaders say they plan to follow through on this.

More than 80% of employees and 90% of employers agree that companies should engage more in helping workers make the most of their financial benefits as they deal with the pandemic.

“Leaders are talking about how the needs of their employees are surfacing and how they have relied upon the company more in this time period for guidance on financial situations,” said Brian McDonald, head of Morgan Stanley at Work. “As employees are creating more wealth and savings through their workplace benefits, it's only natural that they would expect their employers to help them with the rest of the equation as it relates to their own personal financial needs.”
