Not Everyone OK with Female Fortune 500 Execs: Study

Many in the business world point to definite cracks in – if not yet an outright shattering of – the proverbial “glass ceiling.”

Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer and Mary Barra, the recently anointed CEO of General Motors (who rose through the ranks as only a male counterpart might have done in another era) are but two prominent examples of the progress women continue to make in climbing the corporate ladder.

Yet a recent study shows that, when push comes to shove, not everyone is comfortable with the idea of female Fortune 500 executives or as the next President of the United States.
